TERMS & CONDITIONS TO CLIENT


CHANGES
Changes to this agreement must be negotiated through UK Events Ltd and confirmed in writing. These terms and conditions shall be deemed to form
part of an agreement entered into between UK Events Ltd and the client.
BOOKING AGREEMENTS
To ensure the availability and confirmation of the services you have chosen, your booking(s) must be confirmed through this Agreement within 14 days
from date of Agreement. All bookings will be regarded as provisional until UK Events Ltd has received a signed and dated copy of this Booking
Agreement from the client. All items, artists and suppliers will be released if a signed copy is not returned within the specified 14-day period.
NON-FULFILMENT
UK Events Ltd will not be held responsible for any non-fulfilment of this Agreement for any reason beyond the Company’s control. This includes
mechanical breakdown, equipment or power failure, and sudden illness. Every reasonable safeguard is assured. Any monetary compensation may not
exceed the amount stipulated in this Booking Agreement.
TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES & INFLATABLES
Insurance terms stipulate that some inflatable activities may not be used in adverse weather conditions. In these conditions use of the activities is at the
operator or Event Managers discretion. UK Events Ltd will reserve the right to close down an activity if deemed unsafe for use and this action will not be
liable for compensation. Likewise delegates may not partake in some inflatable activities, driving or shooting activities if deemed under the influence of
alcohol by our operators or Event Manager.
ARTIST / SUPPLIER LIABILITY
The artist(s) / supplier(s) undertakes that his/her/their performance will not be dangerous to any other persons. The Artist(s) / supplier(s) will be liable for
damage, accident or injury resulting from his/her/their default.
DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFT
The client will be held responsible for the conduct of his/her guests. Any damage, loss or theft caused to our equipment, or personal injury to artist(s) /
supplier(s) through the client’s actions, will be compensated, repaired or replaced (at recommended retail prices) at the expense of the client. UK
Events Ltd or any of their employees, agents or sub-contractors are not under any liability whatsoever for any personal injury or death caused during
the course of an event, where the incidence is caused by the negligence or inappropriate behavior of participants, clients or guests.
POWER REQUIREMENTS / ACCESS
When booking electrical equipment, please ensure that power points as stipulated overleaf are situated near to the performance position (unless you are
otherwise advised by UK Events Ltd). Please ensure that a sufficient performance area is provided. Please advise in advance if access is awkward i.e.
stairs, long carrying distances, inaccessible drives etc, or if we are positioned on a sprung floor. Performances in marquees should be positioned off the
dance floor unless otherwise agreed.
FOOD & BEVERAGE REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for hot food are stipulated overleaf, and are only requested when necessary. If you are unable to arrange the food and beverage
requirements stipulated overleaf, UK Events Ltd will charge £20.00 per head. Should a problem be anticipated please notify us in advance, in order to
avoid confusion.
CANCELLATION CHARGES
Should this Booking Agreement be cancelLED by the client the following cancellation fees must be accepted:
From date of signing contract: 30% of the total fee is due
60-90 days before the function date: 75% of the total fee is due
Within 60 days of the function date 100% of the total fee is due
INTEREST
Payment conditions must be strictly adhered to. UK Events Ltd shall be entitLED to charge interest of 3% per week or thereof, on all accounts not paid
during the specified period following the date of invoice. The Client will be responsible for any legal costs incurred by UK Events Ltd in the case of
recovering an overdue payment.
OVERTIME FEES
Overtime fees are to be adhered to for the stipulated fee overleaf. Overtime will be charged per hour, or part thereof, and are payable upon receipt of our
invoice.
PAYMENT
If a deposit payment has been requested, please ensure that it is sent with the signed Booking Agreement in order to secure the booking. Unless
otherwise specified, payment should be made by cheque payable to UK Events Ltd, detailing our invoice number.
DISPUTE
Any dispute shall be referred to the Standard Contract of the Variety and Allied Entertainment’s Council of Great Britain. The agreement shall be
governed by English law and all parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
INSURANCE
All UK Events Ltd services are covered by £1 Million public liability insurance. Additional PLI can be provided if required. Copies of relevant certificates
are available upon request. UK Events Ltd or any of their employees, agents or sub-contractors are not under any liability whatsoever for any personal
injury or death caused during the course of an event, where the incidence is caused by the negligence or inappropriate behaviour of participants, clients
or guests.
